🌅 Evening Shooting

We can now take advantage of the lighter evenings, so from Thursday April 24th we'll also be shooting every Thursday evening from 6:30pm.

Club Gilets!

Anyone coming to the club can hardly fail to miss many of our archers looking sharp on the shooting line in their club gilets!

Windproof and showerproof, they really are perfect to keep us comfortable whatever the British weather throws at us. And they certainly get tested on some of our shoots!

Flushed with success!

The newly refurbished toilet next to the Rugby Clubs’ clubhouse is now up and running and available for us to use.

The toilet is accessed via the Rugby Club patio area through a locked door (although currently it's not yet wheelchair accessible).

We have a key and alarm fob for our members to use, with a suitably large "keyring" that hopefully means it can’t get lost!

It goes without saying that we are very pleased as a club to finally have toilet facilities available to us, so please treat them with respect.

We have run a couple of very successful days of Archery Taster Sessions. These 45 minute long lessons are for people wanting to experience archery for the first time.

Delivered by our amazing team of qualified coaches with the support of volunteers from the club, everyone that attended did fantastically well and went away with big smiles on their faces having had a great introduction to our sport. Hopefully many of them have been inspired to join us on one of our Beginners' courses.

We will be running more Taster Sessions' next year so, if you missed out this year, then keep an eye on our website and social media for the date or click on the button below and we will let you know.

Let me know when the next Taster Sessions & Beginners Courses are happening
